ABOUT US

Our Story

In the Spring of 2008, I decided to start my own candle company while also being a stay-at-home dad. I built the business in a 11×10 room in the back of our tiny home. I went in with very little financing but with a wealth of knowledge in candle making. I decided to take a chance and create scents that you, the candle lover, want for your home.

Fast forward to today. My wife has now joined me with her pottery, creating the perfect blend and establishing what Fort Blenheim Candle & Clayworks is today. We hope you enjoy the candles and pottery as much as we love creating them for you. Enjoy and take your time as you look around!

A Mystic Journey

Life is a mystic journey don’t you think? A pure white candle that capture the essence of energy and enchanting fragrances with marjoram and the oriental white tea along with just the right amount of lemongrass. This candle is uplifting and energetic whilst still refreshingly not overpowering. Another one that all too often comes away with empty baskets at shows and events.

Our most popular candle!

Campfire Embers

A new one for the Fall season, and it has already been very well received! The blend of Macintosh Apple, Black Oud and Firewood is a beautifully spiced combo that remains smooth all at the same time. I hope it reminds you of sitting around a campfire in the cool Fall evening while the strong orange color instills that of the crackling embers that emanate from it. Now available for purchase, you and your friends are sure to enjoy!

Whiskey Apple Crumble

When apple crumble cake goes wild! This is one of our most popular candles and there’s no question why. With a hint of whiskey blended with the scents of apple and pastry, it is sure to please.

Hot Cinnamon Pumpkin

Once again, the fall annual is back for Fall 2023! This year it has a little twist… the slightest addition of nutmeg! It just adds to the incredible flavor of the cinnamon blending I use, while also deliciously enhancing the rich pumpkin pie. You can find them in limited amounts at events in the 3×4 size and here in three sizes. Get them while they are hot!
