|Seasons Greeting Blend
I remember when I was a teen and I decided that I wanted to go walk out through our property and cut a tree down all by myself. It was so cold tromping through the snow! We had gotten an early snow that year and it was a bitter cold, the air was incredibly crisp. Living in the mountains of northern Virginia we do not have the usually great selection of trees that some areas have but I found one. I cut my tree dragging it back noticing the smell of Holly in the trees around me and wondering if I would ever make it back to the house. Once I had taken it into the basement to warm up I immediately noticed that my mother was baking a cobbler of apple and cinnamon that smelled awesome. It was going to be a great evening! Do you have a fond memory of cutting a tree?
